About me

HEY THERE!

Hi, I’m Greer. I live in England with my husband and two boys,. Our daily life looks a little different as we navigate the joys and challenges of raising a neurodivergent child with special educational needs (SEN). Parenting in the neurodiverse world has been both rewarding and overwhelming, and at times, I’ve felt incredibly alone.

During a particularly difficult season, I started sharing our everyday experiences on social media. I often wondered, Am I the only one struggling with sensory meltdowns, parenting challenges, and advocating for the right support? But I started connecting with other special needs parents.

One day, over coffee, a friend asked me what it’s really like to raise a neurodivergent child. As we talked, she admitted, "I wish everyone could hear this conversation. It’s so eye-opening."

That’s when I knew: I had to create a podcast about the everyday.

And so, The Unfinished Idea was born—a space where those raising neurodivergent children can find community and support for autism, ADHD, sensory processing, and beyond. Whether you’re navigating meltdowns, seeking sensory-friendly tips, or just looking for someone who gets it, you’re not alone. Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.
