I never wear matching socks… life’s too short for perfect pairs.
A wife, mama of two amazing kids, and proud dog mom to two lovable chaos-makers, I’m also the host of Neurodivergent Conversations podcast — a space for honest conversations about the beautiful, messy, joy-filled, and sometimes exhausting world of raising neurodivergent kids. Around here, there’s no pretending to have it all together — just real talk, plenty of grace, and a community that truly gets it.
As a mama navigating the ups and downs of neurodivergent family life, I know what it feels like to juggle therapy appointments, sensory meltdowns, and endless to-do lists while wondering if you’re doing enough. That’s why I created The Unfinished Community — a space for parents and carers to find connection, encouragement, and practical tools to help their families thrive. You’re not alone in this journey, friend — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
I firmly believe there’s no problem a good slice can’t fix.
A true crime podcast, sandy toes, and a margarita in hand.
Over time, our journey has carried us from confusion to diagnosis, from isolation to community, and from simply surviving to creating space for others to find hope alongside us. What began as a search for understanding has become a story of resilience and purpose, reminding us that none of us are meant to walk this path alone.
I started The Unfinished Idea out of a season of feeling isolated and overwhelmed, longing for honest conversations about the messy, beautiful reality of raising a neurodivergent family.
Community has been vital to our journey, and now we’re passionate about creating a place where no parent navigating neurodiversity feels isolated.
We began to notice subtle differences in our child, unsure of what they meant but sensing that our journey was unfolding in a new direction.
We walked through one of the darkest seasons of our lives, trying to make sense of a new reality we never imagined we’d have to navigate.
